Logstash error when starting "logstash: no such user"

Hi all!

I'm running ELK on a CentOS 7 server and running into an issue when trying to start Logstash. Belos is some output from Logstash status.

May 27 14:06:29 x.x.x.com logstash[3896]: id: logstash: no such user

The only log messages that appear is in /var/log/logstash/logstash.err, shown below, and nothing under logstash.log:

chroot: invalid user

Any one have an idea what may be the cause?

How did you install LS?

Thanks for the reply, but the issue was related to the environment (puppet config) that i'm running ELK.
