I am using ELK and file beat 5.5.2 version,when ever we inserted data in log file filebeat push to Logstash and kibana able to see data but we are facing an issue that every week saturday and sunday there will no log data when data available on monday logstash not able to read data form file beat until we restart logstash.
Please suggest how to over come logstash idle state after week end, is there any settings available to make logstash in running condition for ever.
It's Filebeat that pushes data to Logstash. If it's not able to do that there should be clues in the Filebeat log file. Have you looked in the Logstash log after the weekend? Any messages that indicate its general health?
