Logstash installation getting failed

Hi ,

I have logstash 7.16.3 installed in my machine. If I try to remove this and install 8.x versions of logstash using the RPM files, the installation is getting failed with the below error. Could anyone please help on this?

Hi @ErGeek

Were you able to completely remove Logstash 7.16.3 before attempting to install version 8.x?

  • If not, there might be old files causing conflicts during the installation. Removing all related directories could resolve this.

After that, what steps are you following until the failure occurs?
