I have filebeat, logstash and elastic all on same vm. I followed the tutorial instructions to load sample apache logs from filebeats to logstash. But that has not created index in elasticsearch. Please help.
Please attach your Logstash log. You can start Logstash with debug mode and provide the output.
DEBUG=1 ./logstash .....
I used filebeats to feed elastic directly. This is resolved.
