Logstash output best practice

Hello,

we want to create a good scaling elastic cluster with:

  • at least 3 master nodes
  • coord nodes
  • a lot of data nodes
  • machine learning nodes
  • ingest node ( for cases, where using logstash is not possible)

also we have multiple logstash instances.
which type of elasticnode is the best practice in logstash output ?
i found this link in the forum. "it should be non master nodes". But which node would be the best?

This appears to be an elasticsearch question, not a logstash question. You could try moving it to the right forum...
