I can't find a relevant answer to this question. As I understand it, Logstash can hardly read from NFS (there might be troubles). However is it OK to write in a NFS hosted file?
My stack would be Java -> Kafka -> Logstash -> single NFS file
If a single instance of logstash is the only thing writing to the file then I would expect NFS to provide reasonable semantics for anything reading that file.
