Logstash PQ in conjuction with DLQ

Hello,

Hope everyone is safe during this covid19 crisis.

I have a logstash related question, today we are using Logstash Persistent Queue which seems to me enough to guarantee once an at-least-once delivery. Is there any best practice around using Persistent Queue in conjunction with Dead Letter Queue or is DQL even needed when using PQ ?

PQ and DLQ are unrelated. The persistent queue saves data across logstash restarts. The dead letter queue saves malformated data that elasticsearch cannot index.
