I am trying to understand how to provide custom path for logstash rpm in centos machine.
We dont want to use the default root folders and thus would like to get the installation directory structure created on custom path.
Any inputs?
I tried creating the rpm out of zip/jar but it turns out to be flat directory structure when installed with rpm on centos box.
Unsure if there is any issue with the jar flat ?
