I am trying to upgrade versions of ELK and I have noticed that templates have changed. There is a legacy way and a new composable way. I currently have logstash supply custom templates for different indices. However, logstash appears to use the legacy way, which is deprecated.
Is it on the roadmap to support the new composable index templates? I would like to use them, as they do make my mapping life easier. We are heavy docker users, and I looked to see if elasticsearch could load them at first start as well, but Elastic has rejected that for unconvincing reasons. So it would be nice to have some a way to support loading the different component and index templates in logstash.
