Logstash syslog output - remove headers

Hello,
I am using the syslog output, and a customer recently asked if I could send the syslog message without the headers, to simplify the message's parsing.

I do want to use the syslog transport, but I want the sent string to be completely in my control.
Can this be done?

It sounds like the tcp or udp output is what you're looking for.
