Currently with 1.7 out, I am ready to execute my instances of ELK and other software. I'm wondering about updating to future major version of Elasticsearch when they come out.
What could be expected to come out of version 2.x or the next major version? Is there expected to be major changes or will Elasticsearch still be the software most of us already know.
