It would be nice if there was some way to clean up ml job annotations in bulk from the ml gui.

Hi,
Annotations are stored in a separate index and can be accessed using the alias .ml-annotations-read and .ml-annotations-write with standard Elasticsearch APIs. For bulk deletes I suggest Delete by Query.
There is currently no support for deleting annotations via the UI. I will add your request to the corresponding issue.
