Started getting a "Failed to parse JSON response: invalid character '<' looking for beginning of value" error in the metricbeat logs when sending data to a regular Elastic cluster and an ECE deployment. The error was only for the ECE connection and the other three Elasticsearch servers established a connection without issue. After some troubleshooting I realized that I had copied the Kibana url from the ECE Admin page and not the elastic url. Hopefully this helps someone else if they see the same error message in their beats logs.
