There is no mention of such output plugin in the list of output plugins in the documentation... and when trying to install it I can the error below...
Can't seem to find too much info online on this, only on the input plugin... what am I missing?

No one is using logstash kinesis output??
@NirReuveny ,from Kinesis API ref, you can use REST to send data (Kinesis API Reference) .
In Logstash side, for this pourpose you can use HTTP Output plugin

That's not good enough as it doesn't use the KPL and compress/use bulk send...
Is this kinesis output plugin no longer active? it used to work in the past... what changed?
Anyone? why is there only input plugin for kinesis?... why the output plugin can't be installed?
