We currently have 3 clusters in our environments using the "Basic" tier/license. One cluster is the primary interface point for users which leverages the other two clusters as a federated datastore through the cross-cluster search functionality.
We are considering a potential license upgrade and were looking through the added capabilities shown (Subscriptions | Elastic Stack Products & Support | Elastic).
If we were to upgrade our singular "interface" cluster to a higher license, would elevated Kibana features be accessible? We figured that elevated Elasticsearch features would not as the federated clusters do not have the higher license tier -- but we didn't know about Kibana
