I am building an ES PoC at our lab and was wondering. The boxes we have are 1Gbps (reflecting some of the constraints we may face when we roll an eventual initial deployment).
Is there an optimal wasof "trunking" network connectivity when using ES?
We know some systems (MapR's Hadoop distro being a recent example) of systems that can use multiple IP addresses to avoid the whole 802.3ad channel bonding conundrum by linking each node of the cluster via additional interfaces assigned to particular subnets (It feels like an ugly hack but it seems to help maximising throughput utilisation).
What about ES? I could not find any particular mention about this within its manuals.
