I am using a single node for logging purposes. I have got 3 disks of different size, the first one smaller than the other ones. The first one has capacity of 1 Tb and the others 3 Tb. I want to use them in multipath. Can I have three primary shards for index or should I prefer one shard for index?
I don't think there is any control on how allocation happens on multi path disk. I think I would just merge the space with LVM into a single logical volume.
