Does ES 5.0 provide natural sorting out of box?

I am using Transport client. I was wondering if I could feed a custom comparator to fields that I want sorted in a specific way?

I had looked at the natural sort plugin on github, however it is not available for ES 5.0. https://github.com/jprante/elasticsearch-analysis-naturalsort

It will be ported to ES 5+ but will take some weeks, it's a spare time project. Please stay tuned.
