New document treat while reindex in progress

What happen if new documents added to the origin index after an reindex (source : origin, dest:new) task started?

I can not find any description.

Included or none included?

Hey,

none are included, as reindex uses a scroll, which is a point in time snapshot. See https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/5.3/search-request-scroll.html
