Correct me, if I'm wrong:

As I understand there's no need to have 1, 2, 3,... identifiers in index. So it's possible that GUID is doc ID. ID hg8ns65gy is good also.

The most important question, if all above is correct: IDs hg8ns65gy and HG8ns65gY are different or not?

Yes, doc ID can be GUID. You can specify ID when you index the doc,
like "put indexname/typename/yourGUIIDhere".

IDs hg8ns65gy and HG8ns65gY are different docs per my test. :slight_smile:
