Not able to start metricbeat

i am getting this error while i am trying to start metricbeat on one of my hosts

write error: failed to rotate backups: failed to rotate backups: rename C:\metricbeat\logs\metricbeat C:\metricbeat\logs\metricbeat.1: Access is denied.

if anyone knows how to resolve this please help me with this.

Does Metricbeat have permissions on the file and directory in question?
