Null values

I have an int field in an index. when i put 0 value in it, i see the
value as null (using HEAD plugin).
But when i run a query on it, i see the value as 0.

Any reason for that?

Hello Yehuda,

HEAD plugin converts 0 to null, while showing them. At source it's still
zero. I assume for empty string it's the same.
