Dear all,
is there any plan to support Oracle with packetbeat?
Most of system we use are using Oracle DB and it would be awesome to have this feature

Hi @tmihaldinec - thanks for submitting your suggestion. We'll certainly take the enhancement request on board, but Oracle support isn't something we are currently working on. However, Packebeat supports the addition of custom protocols, if you'd like to add Oracle traffic. Please see the relevant docs here and sample code generator here.

we are in telco business and telco business heavily relies on oracle
I will see if we can do something on our own but it would be awesome if oracle is supported by you out of the box
