Path logs Failure

I have my logs stored with rsyslog at the path /var/log/udp.log, but when i configure my elasticsearch.yml on the "paths" part I wrote down on the part path.logs /var/log/udp.log, I restart my elasticsearch and status it and sends me an error.

What shall I do to tell them the right path o if not just store my logs in another directory if its too much difficult to configure it

path.logs must be a directory, not a file, as several different files will be put into this directory.
