Permgen error

Hi ,

I am dealing with 1.5 lakh feeds and 7GB of data in elasticsearch version
0.19.8, i am not able to start elasticsearch now, it is taking too much
time for the index to be loaded and i am finding lot of .hprof files in the
elasticsearch folder. One time it gave me an out of memory error for
Permgen error, what should i do to start elasticsearch, any kind of
pointers would be of great help.

Hi Jalal!
I have a similar problem and i solved it adding index.cache.field.type:
soft in my elasticsearch.yml config file.
