I found that the current linux startup scripts were saved in dos
format(line ending problem), so it will not start elasticsearch
correctly.
In order to make it work, we should save it following a unix format.

Are you sure? Fresh clone and download of master hexdump of elasticsearch
the script shows only LF (U+0A) as newline, no CR (U+0D).
