Hello,
I am trying to set up Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash) to communicate with each other via SSL/TLS. I have installed Elasticsearch but I can't get Kibana to connect to it.
I am getting following errors on Kibana
//Unable to retrieve version information from Elasticsearch nodes. connect ECONNREFUSED 10.10.140.234:9200
//"Unable to retrieve version information from Elasticsearch nodes. security_exception: [security_exception] Reason: missing authentication credentials for REST request [/_nodes?filter_path=nodes.*.version%2Cnodes.*.http.publish_address%2Cnodes.*.ip]"
I have set up Elasticsearch with it's own CA, then generated certificate + key for kibana, then added pass for .key to kibana keystore, but it is not working.
I had a prpoblem with Elasticsearch as well, but I forgot to add pass for certs in Elasticsearch node to keystore, after I have done that, Elasticsearch could start.

# Make sure that the heap size is set to about half the memory available

# Elasticsearch performs poorly when the system is swapping the memory.

#
# By default Elasticsearch is only accessible on localhost. Set a different

# =================== System: Kibana Server ===================
# Kibana is served by a back end server. This setting specifies the port to use.
server.port: 5601
# Specifies the address to which the Kibana server will bind. IP addresses and host names are both valid values.
# The default is 'localhost', which usually means remote machines will not be able to connect.
# To allow connections from remote users, set this parameter to a non-loopback address.
server.host: "10.10.140.236"
# Enables you to specify a path to mount Kibana at if you are running behind a proxy.
# Use the `server.rewriteBasePath` setting to tell Kibana if it should remove the basePath
# from requests it receives, and to prevent a deprecation warning at startup.
# This setting cannot end in a slash.
#server.basePath: ""
# Specifies whether Kibana should rewrite requests that are prefixed with
# `server.basePath` or require that they are rewritten by your reverse proxy.
# Defaults to `false`.

I don't know what I have been missing so far, I checked other topics regarding this issue, but nothing helped me to resolve this problem.
Thank you.
