Question about FSCrawler releases and changelog

First of all, thanks for providing the FSCrawler.

Regarding releases and changelog, I was wondering if there is a plan to "officially" release 2.10, and maybe maintaining some kind of release schedule (with major, minor, and bugfix versions), so there's a clearer track of what has changed?

I found release notes for the 2.10 version, but there seems to be no "real" release for it on Github or Maven Central. As of the 2.9 release in January 2022, there have been daily snapshots available, but it seems there's no other way to see what's changed other than consulting the commit history.

Finally (but maybe that's just me), having a release strategy might also be better since you wouldn't have to use a snapshot when moving to production.

Thanks

Hey :wave:t3:

I agree. I can not commit on a release date but that's definitely something I'd love to do.

There are a lot of changes in this version.

Thanks for pointing me to the milestone page. I missed that one.

May I ask what's keeping you from committing on a release date? Would you be able to make the release once the open issues in the milestone are fixed? Or is it possible to move them to a next milestone?

Only my available time for this I'd say.
Many things can be moved to the next release.
