This is a somewhat general question about RabbitMQ River. I'm assuming
this is the best channel to discuss?
In short, we've added Script support to RabbitMQ River (the CouchDB has it,
but RabbitMQ River didn't have it for some reason):
But the data format in RabbitMQ forces us to do ugly, hacky, inefficient
stuff in the script. We'd like to propose a different format that should
be more elegant, but is not backwards compatible.
Questions:
- is a backwards incompatible format even an option?
- if yes, how do you suggest we handle this? (I mean beyond "submit the
pull request and let's see")
