Rally 2.2.0 released

We have just released Rally 2.2.0. This is a bug fix release but also adds quite a few enhancements. Here are some highlights:

  • We allow users to specify static responses thus bypassing Rallys networking layer. This is primarily designed to allow users to test the performance of tracks and identify bottlenecks without the complexity of networking.
  • Rally now strictly checks that the target version of Elasticsearch is supported, exiting if this is not the case.
  • Thanks to a community contribution users can now specify the alignment of result tables.
  • The default for the cli parameter --on-error has now changed to continue. Rally will now continue for all errors other than those considered fatal.
  • The metric relative-time has been replaced with relative-time-ms
