I am using elasticsearch cluster of 8 node (3Master+3data+2coordinate).In data node there is a file called java_pid4907.hprof of 7.2 gb in elasticsearch data directory this file is present in all elasticsearch data node.Is this file is generated by elasticsearch or OS ? Is it safe to delete this file?
The file name indicates it's a heap dump, probably auto-generated by Elasticsearch on an out-of-memory error. Elasticsearch has no further need for this file.
