Hey guys,
I just realized that for query_string_queries, range query terms are not
analyzed.
Our index is configured with fields to allow sorting with ICU collation:
"sort_range_analyzer" : {
"type" : "custom",
"tokenizer" : "whitespace",
"filter" : ["lowercase", "en_stop", "icu_en_collator"]
},
We want to allow our client to query for a range within this field using a query like:
"query" : { "range" : { "field.range" : { "gte" : "a", "lte" : "b" }}},
Is this possible?
