Read-Only Maintenance on June 16th at 9AM EST

On June 16th at 9AM EST, we will be importing our Google Groups mailing list archives into Discourse. This will allow us to better centralize discussions and archives.

The site will be in read-only mode for the duration of the import, so you will still be able to view all discussions during the import. We don't anticipate the import should take any longer than a couple hours or so at most.

If you have pressing questions during this window, feel free to look at our community page to find other channels through social media or IRC.

Will email replies be queued and applied after the read only time is done?

The window is obviously past now, but for future reference, email replies should queue up and eventually be processed once the site becomes read/write again.
