Recommendation about integration witk ELK Stack

Hello

I am working on ELK Stack integrating ElasticSearch, Logstash, KIbana; and occasionally FileBeat and Kafka.

I want to make some general recommendations to my technical team about integration to ELK stack.

For example: all log system must be integrated through Logstash or Filebeat or Kafka.
I mean do not integrate directly to Elasticsearch.

This recommendation make sense? It is a good practice connect to Elasticsearch without Logstash, Filebeat, Kafka ?
