Recommendation for maximum size for a field to index into ElasticSearch

Hi ,

I have try to search in this forums and could not find anything on it beside someone is say around 100MB or Lucence is supporting up to 2Gigs.

Just want to confirm what is the maximum size in byte that we could index a field.
And the recommendation size in byte for a field.
