Recommendations for a private cloud?

Since I am new to the world of cloud computing (and I'm planning on ditching
hdfs as ElasticSearchs' gateway), I would like to ask the community what you
would recommend I use instead as ElasticSearch's cloud gateway?

Preferably something that I can build privately and has available paid
support (easier to recommend to management). Bonus points if it's open
source (just because I'm bias) :slight_smile:

If you are after having a gateway implementation, then you don't really need
a whole private cloud for it. You can simply add NFS and store the gateway
there (no need for really souped up one).
