Hi,

Is this https://github.com/elasticsearch/elasticsearch/issues/1077 still on
TODO list in ES ? :slight_smile: If so, what is the expected time of delivering this
one:

  • "Modify the mapping and ask for reindexing (even in the same cluster)
    documents stored in oldindex to a newindex index. The new mapping will be
    defined in newindex" ?

You can do it yourself, issue a scan search and reindex the data you want
into a fresh index.
