Replica shards from initializing to started

Hi - I am creating index and doing a bulk insert with no replica shards. After bulk operations are completed. I am increasing replica shards to 2. It took almost 5 min for replica shards to catch up with primary shard to turn from initializing to started. Is there any time duration related configuration which in general ES cluster will look and start replicating shard after it hits certain duration ?

Shard Size 1.6 GB.

ES version 6.2
