REST Call to create a search object

Hi,

I am looking to create a search object via REST call. This is majorly to view the logs with defined columns at the discover tab. This helps users to avoid them creating basic search objects for viewing logs

Once the search is created, I can request user open them from saved object into "discover" window.

Can you pls guide me.

Note: I could create index pattern via REST call.

Hi, this is really not clear. Something called a search object has to be created for users to view logs? That's not required for Discover, and I am not sure what "search object" is. Sorry!
