Search across multiple types for better score

Hi all

I'm currently trying to index several different formats of lists of, say,
books. Each list is in a different format, and goes into its own type in
ES. There can and should be duplicate entries across the types for each
book. My current basic query just looks for the book title against _all.
I'd like to make the query better by stipulating that if a book appears
across multiple types, it should have a better score.

Could someone point me in the right direction? Not looking for the answer
per se, as I won't learn anything, but any pointers at specific
articles/docs I should read, or if what I'm trying to do has a specific
name that I could search on, would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks
