Search timeout per role

Greetings

Is it possible to use the Roles API to set the timeout parameter on a per-role basis?

For example, I would like to restrict users belonging to a role generic_user to making searches that take no longer than 10 seconds, but I still want my reporters belonging to a role reporting_user to be able to make several minutes long searches.

Is this possible as of 6.7, or is it planned for further out, or not at all?

This is not currently supported, and we have no concrete plans for it.

We are considering features in the general space of per user limits/restrictions, but there's nothing planned for the very near future.
