Show Graph based upon a self-constructed query

I would like to experiment with the "guiding query" which is only available through the Graph API. Interpreting the JSON response is time consuming however. Is there a way to present the JSON response in Kibana Graph?

In the forthcoming 5.0 beta release it is possible to paste a raw Graph JSON query into the Graph UI search box and it will be interpreted as a graph query rather than a free-text search. That should give you what you need.
