Slowness in cluster

Hi all ,

we are using ES 1.3.7 cluster with 5 data cum master nodes,each nodes has 1.5GB heap space.

we are getting slowness while working or connecting to cluster.
heap size looks normal but RAM.percentage usage is increasing in large factor.

then we bounced particular node , RAM seems fine.

after few hours ,again RAM usage start to increase.

can any one suggest permanent solution for this problem??
