Snapshot job failed in between a set of indices

I want to know will it take a partial snapshot or leave the storage half occupied if the complete stream of snapshot job is terminated half way.

I have my snapshot job failing but found the storage partially filled and no trace found on the /_snapshot/repo/_all.
