The major problem is that it's impossible to delete old snapshots when there is no space left.
I faced this problem in the past and was able to manage it by doing this:
That's not recommended and, as an workaround, I used to create a 5 GB dummy-file-to-delete file so I can free up some space and then delete old snapshots using Kibana.
In this case, deleting the 5 GB dummy-file-to-delete was not enough and I'm not able to delete any snapshot.
Being and old issue is any development on the subject?
Any hints on how to solve this besides adding more space to file system?
