I am taking snapshot of indices of about 250GB (6 shards). I have currently set the
max_snapshot_bytes_per_sec to 2000mb. I started with 500mb and expected a linear gain in speed.
Though after increasing the value for this setting, i don't see much improvement in the time taken to snapshot the index.
I wanted to know where and what I can check to find what is causing the bottleneck.
We are currently on ES 2.3.1, the nfs share is connected over a 10G network interface.
Appreciate any pointer and suggestions.
