when trying to do a snapshot and restore for 10 indices of each 50GB in size, the cluster gets loaded and causes lots of rejections during that time. Is there anything that needs to be configured on the cluster side?
It'd help if you provided more information please.
What do you mean? Are there errors? What are the errors? What do your Elasticsearch logs show?
What version of Elasticsearch are you on?
We are on elastic 6.8 .... When doing snapshot of 10 large indices we see the indexing rate goes down in the cluster and at the same time see bulk rejections in the lot ...
