Sort By Months

Hi,
I have a field called Incident_Month of type String. In Kibana after modifying the field to type Date ,can sorting happen such a way that they and arranged according to Months(+ if not is it is possible to arrange Month(type String) to be arranged Month wise- this is of second priority).

Yes, this could be achieved by sorting by Month. The little carot does the sorting for you. You can arrange by Month. Let us know if this helps...or enough to get you started ?

Thanks for the response i found this useful , i acheived this using the Data histogram along with Date field ,and then sorted it out Monthly.
