Supplying the After key to search template with aggregation

I'm new to using search templates and aggregations. In previous queries using aggregations, I've used the "after" key to advance my search through the aggregations.

Is it possible to do this with search templates?

As a simple example, I'm tracking user browsing behavior in an index and I want to get the number of hits per site that's been allowed through during a date range. I set up a search template that takes in a start & end date, and the query in the search template returns the aggregated results of URI + Count.

How do I advance through the aggregation results when I'm using the search template?

I did end up figuring out a solution. I'm using the conditional presence of parameters to add in the after clause in the aggregation.
