If you set translog durability to be async with a default 5 seconds, are documents searchable before the async "fsync" has been committed?
Translog doesn't affect searchability of the documents, it only determines if you are still going to have documents that were indexed during last 5 seconds before somebody accidentally unplugged your node after you plug your node back in. The searchability is determined by refresh operation.
